Do you film events at the Kigali Convention Centre?
Yes. We cover conferences, summits and launches at the Kigali Convention Centre and other venues in Kigali, including the Africa HealthTech Summit and the Africa CEO Forum, and we are listed as an event supplier with the Rwanda Convention Bureau.
How fast can we get video after an event?
For events we can deliver edited clips on the same day, during the event, and a recap film afterwards. We agree the exact delivery times with you before the event.
Do we need a filming permit in Kigali?
Foreign crews apply for a photography and video shooting permit on IremboGov, processed in about four days, and journalists are accredited by the Rwanda Media Commission. When we film for you, we tell you which permits apply and prepare them with you.
Can you film with a drone in Kigali?
Yes, with a permit from the Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority. Visit Rwanda advises allowing two to four weeks, so we apply early.
Are there times when filming in Kigali is harder?
Yes. On Umuganda, the last Saturday of each month, most services close from about 07:00 to 11:00, and some roads close for car-free mornings on the first and third Sunday. We plan shoots around them.
