- 3summit days, 30 September – 2 October 2026
- 75countries represented by delegates
- Liveedited photos shared session by session
- 2highlight films, one for each main day
01The brief
The Africa HealthTech Summit marked its fifth edition and five years of impact, bringing ministers, health leaders, innovators, investors and development partners to the Kigali Convention Centre.
With main-stage plenaries, round tables, an exhibition and side meetings running at the same time, communications teams needed strong, approved images during the summit, not days after it ended. Dignitaries had to be photographed with care for protocol, and the summit’s branding and partners had to be visible in the strongest frames.

02Our approach
We ran the coverage like a live newsroom: one plan, one look, and a short path from the shutter to the people who needed the images.
- 01
Plan the run of show
We mapped every session, speaker and protocol moment from the programme, agreed priority shots with the organisers, and set the crew’s positions for each room.
- 02
Cover every room at once
Photographers on the main stage and the round tables, a videographer on the plenaries and the exhibition, and arrivals, networking and stands covered between sessions.
- 03
Edit at the production desk
Images went from camera to an on-site editor during each session, to be selected, colour-graded, captioned with names and roles, and checked for protocol.
- 04
Share live, session by session
Edited sets reached the communications teams as each session went on, ready for social media, press and partners the same hour.
- 05
Film the highlights
Day-one and day-two highlight films captured the energy of the main hall, the speakers and the delegates.

03What we delivered
- Three days of photography across the main stage, round tables, exhibition, arrivals and networking.
- Edited photos shared live, session by session, while the summit was running.
- Full edited galleries in high resolution, captioned with names and roles, for press, reports and partners.
- Two highlight films, for day one and day two, for social media and future promotion.
- One consistent look across every room and every day.
04Why it worked
One team, based in Kigali, that knows the Kigali Convention Centre, the protocol of high-level events and what communications teams need on the day. The same approach now runs at every conference we cover: a plan built on the programme, every room covered, and photos shared live while the sessions go on.
